Yatton Junior Football Club costs around £9,000 per year to run. This is all covered by fundraising activities and the registration fees.

The football club has also launched a project to build an all-weather playing surface at their home at Rock Road, Yatton

Fund-raising activities are planned and organised by the club’s Social Committee and events for this year are still under discussion but ideas includes:

• Amateur Golf Day.
• Annual 6-a-side day - 7th May 2007.
• Mouse racing.
• 'Ask the Family' quiz night (involving adults and children) - Teams of 4.
• Car wash.
• Car boot sale.
• Toy and book sale
• 'Penny for the Guy' pub crawl around Yatton - Fri 2nd or Sat 3rd November.
• Christmas carol singing around Yatton???!
• Christmas draw - write to local / national shops and businesses requesting prizes
• Weekly match ball sponsorship by local businesses
